RCBI: Rochester Center for Brain Imaging

Data Analysis Software

brain analysis data

The RCBI has a variety of custom software for image analysis and visualization, including AFNI, FSL, Matlab, SPM, Neurolens, Camino, Caret, mrVista, TrackVis, OsiriX, and FreeSurfer. Most of this software is available for free because it was developed by institutions and grants for the purpose of wide distribution and shared use.

The RCBI has one on-site workstation room with Macs, PCs, and Linux machines with all the relevant software preloaded for user access. The RCBI also supports a remote workstation room in Meliora Hall for image analysis by members of the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and other relevant River Campus departments.

The RCBI does not purchase licenses for commercial analysis platforms (e.g., BrainVoyager), but the RCBI computer systems analyst will support users who wish to purchase a site license.
